Easy Webcam has lots of useful features. You can Skype with friends and see them, record movies, send greetings to your family etc. My idea was create a house-guardian based on my high class Logitech Camera. This is skeleton of project called NataliaMD - a home surveillance software.
The most important technique in general surveillance software is Motion Detection. Your camera and computer must run continuously and the software is working.

My motion detection method has 3 parameters listed in order of importance:

Motion detection Level in [%]

Treshold - Binarization of image Level in [%]

Processing frequency in [Hz]
